An experimental new group: Word of the Day

I mentioned earlier that I was playing around with the idea of groups. Basically, ways to opt-in to different kinds of challenges / prompts / etc, in case writing on a purely blank page every day is a bit tricky.

This is the first one, kind of a proof-of-concept, to see if there’s any interest in exploring the idea further. I heard a lot of skepticism that groups would be useful when I mentioned it earlier, but that may or may not have been due to some confusion around what it actually was. This isn’t about necessarily socializing with others so much as it is about participating in a shared goal with writing.

There are a bunch of other groups that could be built, but first I want feedback from y’all… do you want to try it out, and if you try it out do you find it adds to the experience of daily writing or detracts from it?
